Lifting sling to help my back

I badly injured my lower back recently and it's been quite slow to heal so I've been putting off doing some heavier work on the Mini in regards to removing/refitting the engine and subframe. While the subframe isn't that heavy, it's quite awkward to lift into place and get the bolts/nuts in place if I don't have my wifes help to hold it.

To help me, I made a simple sling to lift the subframe with my engine crane. I found the (forward-rear) centre of balance of the subframe and made up a simple lifting sling with some scrap tube steel and rods I had laying around. The two seperate pieces are hooked around the subframe and bolted together with a D shackle.

It took all of 10-15 minutes to make this... I don't know why I haven't done it in the past. It will be good for once the shell is painted and I can carefully maneuver the subframe into place without scratching the nice new paint.
