Rear Starlet Mount - Polyurethane Casted

I picked up the rear Starlet Mount during the week from PolyRubber in Welshpool. It cost me $100 to get the custom cast done in Shore 65 hardness.

The polyurethane is certainly much harder and there is a huge reduction in movement on the centre pin compared to the original rubber insert, so as per recommendation of both PolyRubber and a work colleague of mine (his pages and experiences with polyurethane mount castings are here http://martybugs.net/magna/mount.cgi and http://martybugs.net/Pintara/mount.cgi), I drilled series of eight evenly spaced 8mm holes around the centre pin to provide some flexibility in the mount but still stop the engine from rocking back/forth under load and braking. I also plan on making a steady bar to mate the top of the engine with the bulkhead to prevent further engine movement, and those details will be posted when I make it.
