My wife & I have already discussed and decided on a paint colour for the Mini many months ago but today while at the auto paint store getting some acrylic paint mixed for my gauge pod business (and paint stripper for the Mini shell), I got a small 100mL sample pot of the colour mixed up. Ford Blood Orange - a colour used on the Ford Falcon (BA Series XR6 & XR8) - is a colour that certainly won't be easily missed. It is has no metallic pearl in it so will be easy to touch up any (heaven forbid) dings, dents, rust if they ever eventuate.
I plan to mix this up and spray a spare door with it to see what it looks like on a whole panel - Stay Tuned!!
