I love weeks like this, where I get spurts of motivation in between the other weeks of "Oh cripes, there's so much non-car stuff I NEED to do". The garage has finally been cleared of old packing boxes, carpet, chairs etc so I now have loads of room to move around. The white Mini has had everything removed from the engine bay (except clutch/brake cylinders and wiper motor); everything removed from the interior and all wiring & fuel/brake lines from under the car. I have quickly found I do need to set up some shelves to store all the parts I'm taking off though. Next step : Remove the rear subframe and hood lining, then it's basically ready to pull out the grinder and cut the shell up!
On another note, over lunch today I ordered and put a deposit down for the EP82 Toyota Starlet GT front cut today and was advised it should arrive a lot sooner that I was told a few weeks ago. Because a recent rush of half cut orders with KYP in Welshpool, Western Australia (http://www.kyp.com.au/), it should be here late May (instead of the original ETA of early July, 5-6 weeks difference). Oh Boy, I'll have to get busy on sorting the rest of the white Mini out and scrapping the rest of the shell.
